Our Laser Cutting Technology

Accurate, Repeatable Laser Cutting at Any Scale

At LGM Engineering we operate a Amada ENSIS fibre laser, supported by an AS-LUL automated loading and unloading tower, allowing us to deliver fast, repeatable, and highly accurate laser cutting across a wide range of materials and thicknesses.

The ENSIS platform is known for its variable beam control, which automatically adapts the laser beam profile to suit material type and thickness. This enables clean, high-quality cutting across thin sheet and thicker plate without constant manual intervention, improving edge quality, consistency, and throughput.

Our AS-LUL automation tower allows lights-out operation, with automated sheet handling and part unloading. This reduces handling time, minimises human error, and ensures consistent production even on longer or repeat-run jobs. The result is faster turnaround, reliable repeatability, and competitive pricing for both one-off prototypes and production batches.

Integrated Laser Cutting and Press Brake Folding

Maximise efficiency by combining laser cutting and press brake folding within a single, controlled workflow. We take your designs from flat sheet through to accurately formed components, maintaining precision and consistency at every stage.

  • Precision cutting preparation – CNC laser cutting of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, accurately cut to size for forming

  • Custom cut components – Laser cut blanks produced to suit specific bend allowances and fold sequences

  • Accurate press brake folding – Multiple controlled bends and folds carried out on laser-cut parts using modern press brake equipment

  • Optimised blanks – Laser cut components sized and prepared to ensure efficient, repeatable press brake operations

By carrying out laser cutting and press brake bending under one roof, we reduce handling, shorten lead times, and maintain tighter quality control, resulting in reliable, cost-effective folded components.

We provide precision laser cutting services for a wide range of materials and thicknesses, supporting customers from initial concept through to finished components. By combining modern CNC laser technology with automated material handling, we deliver accurate, repeatable parts with consistent edge quality and tight tolerances.

Our workflow is set up to handle everything from one-off prototypes to short and medium production runs. CAD driven programming ensures parts are cut exactly as specified, while efficient nesting and automation reduce lead times and keep costs competitive.

We work closely with customers to support downstream processes such as folding, welding, finishing, and assembly. This integrated approach reduces handling, improves consistency across batches, and ensures components arrive ready for the next stage of manufacture or installation.
